This week is Mental Health Awareness week and the theme this year has been movement: moving more for our mental health.

The great thing about being more active is that it doesn’t have to mean a gym membership - it can be as simple as a walk round the block, a dance in the kitchen or some energetic hoovering! All of these activities can help improve your mental health.

With that in mind, I’ve released a short video of a calming breathing technique. The video is only a minute long because that’s how long it takes for calm breathing to help you.

I’m often asked what can hypnotherapy be used to treat and it’s such a difficult question to answer because the answer is just about anything where the subconscious is involved. Sometimes whatever that is doesn’t have an obvious connection to the subconscious so if you’re wondering if hypnotherapy can help you, the answer is most likely yes!
