Why a fear of motorways can end up restricting your life
I’m doing a lot of work lately with fear of driving also known as vehophobia.
Often it manifests itself in a fear of motorway driving but it can be anything - bridges, dual carriageways, narrow roads, tractors. The driver has been a confident driver most of their life and then suddenly finds they can’t manage it anymore.
The more they think about it and the more they are aware of it, the worse it becomes until they find that it’s all consuming and even sitting in the car on the driveway can be a huge challenge.

It’s surprisingly common and often we find that people’s world starts to shrink as the fear takes over.
Thankfully with just a few sessions of hypnotherapy we’re able to bring about a change that they feel comfortable with and help them to become more mobile again.
