When was the last time you stood in a muddy puddle?

We’ve all got an inner child.

It’s that 7 year old version of yourself that enjoys standing in a muddy puddle.

Sometimes we are so caught up in the business of being an adult that we forget to play. Your mental health loves larking about so ask yourself when was the last time you nutured your inner child?

This is a great time of year for your inner child. You can’t beat splashing in puddles, kicking up piles of golden leaves or seeking out the best conker. Maybe your inner child is a bit more indoorsy and they’d like to paint or draw. Why not treat them to a colouring book or a new set of paints? Maybe you’d like to make a fort with pegs and sheets. Maybe you’d like to do a jigsaw.

Who said there was an age limit on this kind of thing? It’s good for you to play. Have a think about how you can treat your inner child today.
