Tears, Laughter, and Everything in Between: Why All Emotions Are Welcome in Therapy
Let’s talk about emotions in therapy - because they show up in all sorts of ways!
Some people cry during sessions, and that’s absolutely okay. Tears are just a release, a way for your mind and body to let go.
But you know what?
Some people laugh too!
And that’s just as valid. Laughter can be a sign of relief, a shift in perspective, or even a way to process something deep.
However you respond, there’s no ‘right’ or ‘wrong’—just your experience. So if you ever feel worried about how you’ll react in a session, don’t be.
It’s all welcome here.
